After forming the 'Sod em All Party' in 1961, Screaming Lord Sutch renamed it the 'National Teenage Party' in 1963, the 'Go To Blazes Party' in 1970 and finally the 'Official Monster Raving Loony Party' in 1983. Leading the party for 38 years he is still a spiritual leader following his death in 1999. |

Made Party Chairman in 1983 by long term friend and fellow musician Screaming Lord Sutch, Alan 'Howling Laud' Hope performed this role until becoming joint leader with his cat in 1999. After Cat-Mandu died in a road accident Alan became the sole party leader. |

1999 to 2007 | Deputy Party Leader | Voted Deputy Party Leader in 1999 Boney Maroney added the role of party secretary to her workload in 2001 when the Mad Cow-Girl left to tour the USA. Since this time she performed both roles and kept the party on a straight track. Resigned in May 2007. |

Derek Howell (Lord of Tiverton), veteran loony campagner at general & euro elections accepts the appointment of party chairman from his hospital bed in his home town of Hastings. Unfortunately 'Tivers' never recovered from his illness and died one week later. |

Accepting the role of deputy party chairman at the 1999 party conference, T.C.Owen promoted to chairman after Lord Tiverton died, one week after his appointment. He has actively fulfilled that role until 2007 when he was appointed as Deputy Party Leader. |

1995 to 1999 | Party Secretary | Taking on the day to day running of the membership and treasury for the party in the mid 90s, Dangermouse worked tirelessly to keep members informed of loony events, elections and conference notices. He eventually passed this role on to the Mad Cow-Girl in 1999 after the death of Screaming Lord Sutch. |

Originally accepting the formidable task of bringing the Loony Party into the 21st century with an increased web presence, the Mad Cow-Girl took on the additional duties of party secretary, membership secretary & treasury as the whole party was revamped, finally passing these roles on when the task of rejuvenating the party was done. After the Loony Archive was launched in 2005 became unofficial archivist, which was made official in 2008. |

2003 to 2007 | Webmaster | The Flying Pasty took over the role of official party webmaster in 2003 and has continued the high quality loony internet presence to this day, tirelessly coordinating thousands of emails and keeping loonies around the world up to date on news and events. After the Flying Pasty and Boney Maroney resigned from the party, it was the Leader's decision to appoint Mr R.U. Seerius as the official Loony Party Webmaster. He took on this role in May of 2007, together with the role of Membership Secretary.. |
