Howling to open Ale Festival at Hartley Wintney nest Friday (18th July)

2014_4751_Monsters_In_The_Dark_launch_3_Jul_018The 5th Annual Ale Festival, and the best so far, takes place at Hartley Wintney Football Club on Green Lane, Hartley Wintney RG27 8DL, from Friday 18th July to Sunday 20th July. A donation from the proceeds of this Ale Festival will be made to the Testicular Cancer Charity.
There are 20 real ales available from 17 different micro breweries most of which are local and based in Hampshire/Surrey. Local breweries including Ascot Ales, Longdog, Langham, Mash and Wild Weather have all supplied ales to this Festival as have Thurston, Flowerpots, Alfred, Siren, Tillingbourne and Hoptimist. There will also be 8 ciders on sale, five from Mr Whiteheads and three from Westons.
This Ale Festival opens for business at 5pm on Friday 18th July and at 8pm Alan ” Howling Laud ” the Monster Raving Loony Party Leader and CAMRA member will be attending to officially open the event with a glass of his favourite tipple ” Co-ALE-ition Hope & Glory ” from the Ascot Ales brewery in his hand.
The Ale Festival opening hours are as follows: Friday 18th July (5 till 11), Saturday 19th July (1 till 11) and Sunday 20th July (12 till 5). There will be 10 very different Live Music acts on the Saturday which should suit all tastes commencing from 1.30pm and running right through to 11pm. There is hot food on sale all day. The entrance fee to be paid on the door is £5 (free for children accompanied by an adult), souvenir glasses are £2 each and the ales are all the same price at £1.50 per half pint.
