This evening Johnny Cartwright’s long standing record was broken by Mark Beech (The Good Knight of Nos Da) achieving a record breaking one vote in the Ilan Ward of the Pontypridd town council election. Mark was helped in his achievement by his campaign team, including 3 year old boy, delivering a mere 69 leaflets before disappearing to Barry Island. Mark’s contested an election in a country he doesn’t even live in anymore.

A total of 191 votes were cast meaning this technically qualifies an improvement in Mark’s share of the vote
