And we start the year with our campaign for the bye- election in Oldham. Nick the Brick is on the campaign trail (and very muddy it is too) with Radio and TV Interveiws designed to woo the voters whilst the other candidates send the rest of us to sleep….

Manicfesto for Oldham and Saddleworth

1 Chaddy the owl to be knighted.

2 We will apologise to Elwyn Watkins and appoint him as the winner of the election to save the time and expense to Oldham and Saddleworth constituents. With the money saved (paid for by Central Government) we will have a massive party at the town hall to promote community relations

3 In line with our Winter Resilience policy we will issue free buckets and spades for all constituents to help with snow clearing in the Winter and to take on their hols in the Summer.

4. We would extend the new metro line to Stratford London so residents can easily get to the Olympics in 2012 and still get back in time to watch “Corrie

5. We will get the residents of Oldham to make a giant Tubular bandage in order to patch up the (bleedin) cuts in Government Policy

6. Regarding the recent V.A.T rise this will only be applicable to Politicians who have hard choices and difficult decisions to make. The rest of us, dont worry about the tax, we’ll stick it on.
