John Cartwright who stood at the Waddon local election, maintained our Loony tradition of coming last with 11 votes. We would like to thank the 11 persons who voted for our candidate, which shows that all is not lost in Waddon. The seeds of Loonyism have been sown. It has to be said, that out of the total electorate (11173) 7995 didnt vote at all. Presumably they didnt feel that their vote would count against the larger political parties. (They always win dont they?) So we say once again, EVERY VOTE COUNTS.
