Once again, the Loonyparty Conference was a great success. Although sadly several pivotal members could not attend this year due to other commitments, several new members turned up to give us their support including some new candidates at elections. A new range of merchandise was on display to comemerate the 10th anniversary of our founders bereavement. A film crew also followed everyone around and placed hidden mikes in strategic places to record this event for a possible future TV program.

Also, and as usual the bands were brilliant with special thanks to Dale Fontaines show. The Big Fibbers who are now almost a tradition at these events were exceptional and the Sat eve headline “Whats next” did a rockin set and gave us the first public performance of their new recording “Monster Mistake”. Several new manicfesto proposals were put forward for use at the next general election which we are informed will be on May 6th 2010 (remember you heard it here first). We were all given a rousing speech by our leader who is now hard at working getting the Loony Party “Ready for Government”

Potential Candidates were advised to contact us now to sort out legalities, proposals and future ministerial positions.
