Very well done to Sir Oink a Lot for securing 159 votes in the recent By-election on Thursday 26th Feb 2026.
The fact that the party came 6th out of 11 candidates was quite something, we beat 5 and 5 beat us. BUT, not only did we lose our deposit yet again, we do hold the record for the party that has lost most deposits in Parliamentary elections. For the very first time, so did the Conservative and the Lib Dem in the very same election. I tend to think that they have seen the light and they are trying to catch us up. Well done to all that were able to attend this great day of ours. The next one won’t be too far away, bring it on, we are rearing to go!
