A very busy first quarter,January saw myself and three Loony sympathisers,out in Malta meeting up with the ‘Raving Loony Malteser and
Chocolate Fudgecake Party’ we met as usual in ‘The Pub’ in Archbishop St Valletta, where our very good friend Oliver Reed still has his Loony t-shirt, badges and rosette still hanging on the wall. We think we have another branch in the Qwara-Buggiba area just getting under way,will confirm,when I hear more !

February I was at the ‘Bath Ball’ fraternising with a few party members,this is an annual event run privately,but over the years alot of party goers have joined our party !

March saw myself and a few of you running around getting nomination papers filled in to stand in Local elections,all in all,we have 20 candidates standing, well done.
Papers had to be in by 4th April,but wont know results until 3rd May.
I personally had to get mine filled in pretty quick cause on the 22nd March i was off to Bradford to fight this Gorgeous George Galloway in the Bradford West By-election. But,as always I have found the easiest way to do this is, pen
and paper in hand, just sit for half an hour in your local Wetherspoons,job done.

Bradford was great fun,spent 8 days there doing TV,radio,newspapers,interviews for magazines etc,in fact the publicity for Bradford over all, was probably some of the best we have ever had.We worked hard especially Nick ‘The Flying Brick’ and Charon ‘Slaphead’ Singh without who’s help it would have been a far greater task.
Lord Toby was a great asset on the internet,plus lets not forget the locals who made us very welcome.William,Landlord of our HQ ‘The New Beehive Inn’ faultless, a big thanks to him. He joined in on the count night along with Charon and his helpers.
Mr R.U.Seerius and Lady Hellenback,Flying Brick and Sam Thing, all suitably dressed for the occasion.
‘111’ One Hundred and Eleven people wanted the Raving Loony Party to represent them in Parliament,at least some got it right ! Probably 18,000 got it wrong,we shall see ! ! !
