Howling hosted a special Mild Month of May night at the Prince Arthur in Fleet yesterday (Wednesday). Six Milds from all over the UK were available on the night including our own Co-ALE-ition Mild — HowlinGale from the Wild Weather brewery. A competition was arranged to enable customers to vote for the best Mild on the night after being given free samples of all the six Milds available. More than 30 customers took part in the competition and the winning Mild was HowlinGale from Wild Weather which received 50% of the total votes.
Mike Tempest from Wild Weather also attended and ran a ” Meet The Brewer ” session which went down very well especially with the 20+ members of the local CAMRA branch who were there.
Several Ale Festival organisers were there and we confidently expect HowlinGale orders from the Fleet Lions and Woking Ale Festivals.
