I would like to thank all our party members who took part in this great fun day of ours.
Special congratulations to ‘Sir Grumpus L Shorticus’. He didn’t actually stand for a local council seat, he went one step beyond and stood for a Parliamentary seat in the Welsh Senadd. Standing in Bangor Conwy Mon on the Isle of Anglesey winning 274 votes.
Secondly a special Mention for ‘Captain Loogie’ first time in, Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. Top of the council polls with 247 votes. One other thing which we are very proud to say is that our Party Leader came out of it all, retaining his seat on his home town council of Fleet, Hampshire. He didn’t get any votes at all, returned unopposed. Forgetting all the accolades, each and everyone of you are hero’s, very well done to you all.
Our next big event is the Party Conference September 24-25-26, at The George and Dragon in Belper, Derbyshire. See you all there if not before. Unless of course there happens to be a By-election between times. Lets ‘Hope’ so!
