After the shock news today that Diane James of Ukip, recently elected, is standing down after 18 days , we can confirm that Alan ” Howlin Laud ” Hope who has been the elected leader of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party for 17 years IS NOT!
In a statement today Alan said that “he had all the authority he needed to see through the changes which he may have had planned….. if he had any”.

I don’t think Blackpool quite knew what hit it, especially when The B.U.M.S’ from Wales did an impromptu dance out at a Weatherspoons pub. Followed by the annual Cabinet Reshuffle at Uncle Toms’s and a stirring speech by The Jersey Flyer (Chairman) and our annual roundup of the year by Alan Hope (Leader) including a recap of our successful Welsh assembly election campaign including our first ever T.V election Broadcast…

I can confirm that we will have a candidate for the forthcoming by-election in Witney, Oxfordshire…
This has come about by the resignation of David Cameron today…
He says that this is because “he dosn’t want to be a distraction to the current Government”, Although we must say he’s been very distracting for the last several years, so why change?
During his reign as Prime Minister he will be remembered as the man who took us out of the E.U…unintentionally, so any future employment where good judgement or gambling is involved is out…I can’t see him doing any manual labour?…so that leaves Pig husbandry perhaps?
As you all know by now the Loony party as a party allowed all members to vote as they saw fit…
The result of the Referendum is that the United Kingdom has decided to leave the E.U..
The Loony party will continue to draw attention to the silliness and vagaries of the Politicians in the future , as we have in the past.
As the United Kingdom voted, it seems that several areas and organisations, specifically the Scottish SNP have decided they didn’t like the result, and are now calling for a referendum to leave the United Kingdom again.. As far as we are concerned The 2 fishes should immediately resign, they are a disgrace, undermining the result of the United Kingdom E.U referendum , especially as the 2014 result was conclusive. This is not the British way. We as a people respect the result of democracy, and live with it, even if we as individuals voted in an alternative way. They should respect the result of all the peoples of the United Kingdom and work with all parts of the U.K to make a better future..
We came, we stood, but unusally the event was very sombre, overshadowed by the horrific events regarding Jo Cox.

We would like to express our condolences to the Family and friends of the M.P Jo Cox after the events of yesterday.
We would also like to inform any of our supporters and potential voters for the constituency of Batley and Spen, that we will not be contesting any by election caused as a result of this terrible news.
The Loony Party can confirm that we will be standing at the TOOTING By-election, on Thurs 16th June. Our candidate and leader Alan “Howling Laud” Hope is your candidate.
The election has been brought about by the previous M.P Mr Sadiq Khan getting a better job, although we can’t imagine what could be better than representing the people of Tooting.

“After we nearly disassembled the Welsh Assembly on May 5th Our next foray into the Political World will be the TOOTING By-election, on Thurs 16th June. I shall be the candidate and the very dependable ‘Nick the Flying Brick’ will be my agent. Coincidently this happens to be my birthday and the anniversary of our dearly departed leader, Screaming Lord Sutch 17 yrs ago. So c’mon TOOTING give us something to smile about in his memory, the saving of our deposit would be a fine thing, if not better than that. Remember Citizen Smith, he would have voted for us, would probably have been the candidate, he would have won. So why not us, you know it makes sense!”
